RIDCOR has been organizing eye and health checkup camps on its road stretches. It has also provided first aid training programs to various volunteers alongwith its stretches. As a part of Comprehensive Health Intervention Program (CHIP), the Company has, along with Deepam Education Society for Health (DESH), reached out to over 1.8 lac truckers and vulnerable population with information and knowledge on health and STI/HIV/AIDS prevention control and management through interpersonal communication, IEC and mid media activities like magic show, audio visual shows, exhibitions, processions, caravan etc. It has conducted over 400 AROGYAM camps (Mobile clinic) all along for truckers and vulnerable populations and has distributed condoms among truckers towards the promotion of safe sex practices and risk reduction. The Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society and the Company have also agreed to cooperate in the development and implementation of an Employer Led Model for reaching informal workers linked with industries with HIV/AIDS prevention to care program. National Aids Control Society (NACO) officials have also appreciated the outstanding performance of RIDCOR by presenting a memento in the State Level Consultation on Employer Led Module (ELM) held on 7th February 2017 at Jaipur.
