The work of resettlement of project affected persons, whose land was acquired, has been taken up by RIDCOR as part of Corporate Social Responsibility on the stretch Phalodi to Ramji Ki Gol. This is not mandatory, but had been done in order to upgrade the standards of living of vulnerables. Apart from the benefits of road up-gradation and development, RIDCOR had undertaken the work of rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) of project affected people and families on the Phalodi to Ramji Ki Gol package on a selected basis which included rehabilitation of families below poverty line, women headed families, SC, ST, physically challenged people and farmers loosing more than 15% of land in the Mega Highway Project. The implementation of Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) comprised of various Income Generation Schemes (IGS) to the Project Affected Families (PAFs) in addition to cash compensation for loss of land. IGS had been disbursed to the PAFs based on severity of land lost and vulnerability of the PAF (BPL status, physical handicap, women headed household and social class). IGS had been allocated based on eligibility based on above mentioned criteria.
